A huge Severn Trent Water reservoir, around. 25-30 minutes drive, Carsington Water is also great for bird watching, walking, cycling, horse riding, fishing, and there is a brilliant water sports centre, as well as an outdoor area for picnics. There are also BBQ facilities and an outdoor play area you can enjoy on summer days. There are shops in the courtyard and a cafeteria for lunches, snacks and drinks.
